History
After setting up camp for the night, two members of Project TWIG went off to look around the area. In the hills near Akemi Mountains, they found what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse, and their surprised entry tripped an alarm. Five wolves were set free from what appeared to be surveillance enclosures, and the person tending to them fled before being seen. One wolf was presumed to have been killed by another in the moment of their escape. Volturno's body was taken back to the Wildlife Research Institute for study. Now the wolves are loose on the island, and very little is known of them. They are listed in the order in which they appear to function according to a vague idea of a ranking system.

The first incident involving the Tsunami Wolves was their attack and kill on Anok the bear. Anok was one of the island's most prominent black bears, and was in her prime. The Tsunami Wolves made quick work of her, and the scene was observed by Foxx, One, and Aoime. One and Aoime went in for a closer look, and paid the price for coming too close, barely escaping with their lives. It was then that the Tsunami Wolves truly became known to the island, and all packs were warned to stay away and heed caution.

They seemed to have faded away for a few months, but re-emerged in the Winter months as Project TWIG was at the tail-end of their island sweep to check on the various wolf packs. The Tsunami Wolves closed in on Dover Matthew's sled team, and one of Dover's dogs paid the ultimate price. Baer’ushk was killed by Zambezi, and in defence of his life, the lives of the two Researchers with him and his dogs, Dover shot Zambezi with a handgun until the wolf finally died.

The Tsunami Wolves have had their numbers shrink to three, but their tenacity remains unquestioned. They are still a force to be reckoned with, and the Research Team wants nothing more than to capture these wolves before anything else happens...
